Leaders in Training (LIT’s)

During this first year of our Leadership Programs, LIT’s spend most of their time developing teamwork and leadership skills, while also learning how to interact with people of different backgrounds. Each day includes camp and LIT development activities. The LIT program is held over two weeks where they spend Sunday, through the weekend, until the following Saturday at Camp. The LIT Program is for 15 year-olds and is a 2-week program.

Counselors in Training (CIT’s)

The CIT program is the 2nd year of our Leadership Programs and is for 16 year-olds. This is a 3-week program that will focus on how to interact with kids who have disabilities, learn behavior management skills, and how to give a positive camp experience to children. CITs will spend their time doing leadership activities and being in a cabin with campers and a veteran counselor mentor to provide guidance while they put all the skills they have learned to work. During their final week they have the option to complete a lifeguard certification.
